Frequently Asked Questions
Signature Requests
![]() |
I received a signature request but can't seem to sign the form because it is locked. How do I sign the form? |
You will encounter this if you are navigating to the signature section of the initial submission or form you are signing. The "Sign" button at the bottom of the page will not be available. To sign submissions, access the appropriate study from your work area and click on the "Sign" button on the top left hand side of the screen. |
Form Updates
![]() |
I have completed a form but cannot sign or submit it for review. What is happening? |
If you are encountering issues with signing or submitting a form even after it has been fully completed, it may be that the project must be updated. Access the submission through the work area and click on the blue "Update" button located at the top of the page. Please note, you must be the project owner of the study to update the submission. |
![]() |
Should I update projects that have been closed or completed? |
Do not update projects that have already been closed or completed. |
Creating Subforms
![]() |
Why can't I create a specific subform for a study? |
This may be because there is already an outstanding, duplicate subform for this study. Make sure to complete all previously created subforms before starting a new one. To check all existing forms, access the study from your work area and click on the "Project" button on the top left hand side of the page. You should see all open subforms for the study. |
Locked Form
![]() |
I am getting a notification that states the form has been locked through signatures/requests. What does this mean? How do I unlock the form? |
This notification will appear for projects and forms where there is currently a signature request pending. The form cannot be edited while a signature request is pending. You may unlock the form at anytime but doing so will invalidate all current signatures and all pending signatures requests. |
